I Did Not Fail My People, And They Are Very Happy With Me - Hon. Joan O. Mrakpor.

The Honourable member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency at the federal House of Representatives, Abuja, has replied her critics who have continued to demand her scorecard.
In several social media posts, the group Coalition For New Order Delta State, headed by high ranking youths from the constituent communities in Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency of Delta State, demanded accountability, transparency and quality representation from their reps member.
One month after, she promised, she replied. In her words...

"I did not fail my people and you know it, and you know they are very happy with me" she replied in one of the comments.

"I report to the ONE who sent me there and almighty God" she continued.

However, as a reps member, one would presume that she reports to God and the electorates (constituents) who painstakingly campaigned and voted her into office.
She went further to outline the projects she claimed to have initiated and completed in her 8years as a member of the Delta State House of Assembly, representing Aniocha South and her 3yrs stay as the member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
Here are the projects she listed.

The group have argued that Hon. Joan Mrakpor should not join her projects at the State Assembly with her projects at the Federal House of Reps, since both are not the same mandate.
The group has further demanded accountability, transparency and quality representation regarding the Abuja mandate.

They listed the following demands.

  1. Projects initiated or concluded since 2015
  2. Bills passed or raised but yet to pass.
