Ramos Writes An Anthem For The Spanish National Team; Promises To Lift The 2018 FIFA World Cup

32yrs old Real Madrid and Spanish captain Sergio Ramos has released an anthem he co-wrote for the Spanish national football team, ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The 2010 world cup winner who has now won 4 UEFA champions league trophies co-wrote the anthem with a Spanish flamenco fusion singer, Demarco Flamenco.

Ramos took uploaded clips of the song through his verified Instagram handle. "I always keep to my promises. This is what my friend Demarco Flamenco have been working on. Warming up for the world cup" he wrote.

The song titled; "Otra estrella en tu corazon" meaning, another star in your heart, has lyrics like... "Come on, Spain, raise your voice; scream loudly, shout that goal. Thinking big, we will achieve the best, fighting together towards the star with honour. We have to try. May La Roja shine once more".

In 2010, when they were draw with Chile in group H, the lost their opener 1-0 against Switzerland but went on to top the group with goals difference of Chile who they defeated 2-1.

In the 2014 outing as defending champions, they lost scandalously by 5-1 to Netherlands, with Robin Van Persie scoring an unforgettable flying header. In the 2018 World Cup scheduled to hold in Russia, Spain will begin their campaign on the 15th of June, 2018 with a mouth watering encounter against European Champions Portugal.

The other countries in the group are Morocco and Iran. With the trends in their previous two world cup openers, Spain will slightly be under pressure to impress and win their first group game which may decide who tops the group.
