Why Should You Vote Hon. Joan Onyemaechi Mrakpor?

The Honourable member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Hon. Joan Onyemaechi Mrakpor has in the past 3 years left her indelible footprints of excellence in the sands of time. As her phenomenal achievements and massive support continues to win more supporters for the PDP, it beckons on us to critically examine the achievements of this noble woman of great grace.

Hon. Mrakpor was elected into the green Chambers to represent Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency under the platform of the People's Democratic Party. She replaced Hon Ndudi Elumelu, who served for 8 years within which period he was the chairman of House Committee on power (2007-2011) and House Committee on Health (2011-2015). It will be recalled that throughout this time, he was chairman of these two key committees, his Constituency languished in over 10 years of electricity blackout.

Also, there was inadequate Healthcare facilities in his Constituency. However, the saddest part of the 8 years journey was that he sponsored no bills that even passed second reading.

Consequently, he failed to pick the gubernatorial ticket in the keenly contested governorship primaries. As one would think he has moved up the political ladder, he has returned to recoup his loss by vying for the House of Representatives ticket for an unprecedented third tenure.

History of Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency shows that he is the first person to serve as long as 8 years but as if it's not enough he wants 12 years.

In all, political analysts, Deltans, party faithfuls and the entire country is watching to see how Delta PDP primaries will unfold.

If the pendulum would swing forward or backwards will be determined by a lot of factors.
