"Vote Your Conscience," Hon. Mrakpor Appeals To PDP Aniocha/Oshimili Delegates.

The Honourable member representing Aniocha/Oshimili federal constituency of Delta State at the House of Assembly yesterday September 24 completed a consultation visit to the four local government headquarters in her constituency.
The consultation began at Akwukwu-Igbo, before the entourage proceeded to Ogwashi-Uku, Issele-Uku, and Asaba the headquarters of Oshimili North, Aniocha South, Aniocha North, and Oshimili South respectively.

In her speech the lawmaker highlighted her performance in the  past two years in each of the local governments she visited.
She also pointed out that all that she has achieved were accomplished within two years, adding that the 2018 input is yet to be included.
"What we have been able to achieve is just with the budget for 2yrs. The budget for the 2018 input is yet to be approved by the presidency," she noted.

In Akwukwu-Igbo, she listed her accomplishments in Oshimili North Local Government Area to include:

1. Construction of Palm oil processing mill at Akwukwu-Igbo.
2. Portable Water Project Akwukwu-Igbo.
3. Skills Acquisition Centre Ilah.
4. Portable Water Project Ebu.
5. Six classroom blocks at Umejei Primary School Ibusa.

At the PDP secretariat Asaba, Oshimili South Local Government Area she listed the following projects:

1. Cottage Hospital Asaba, with Staff Quarters and Mortuary.
2. Construction and equipping of Comprehensive Health Centre Oko Anala.
3. Installation of Mini Grid Electricity Distribution at Ogwa-Ukwu, Asaba.
4. Construction of Computer Centre with 30pcs of Computer sets at Osadennis Mixed Secondary School, Asaba.
5. Installation of 500kva transformers at Asaba.

When she arrived Issele-Uku with her entourage, flanked by  Commissioners, Past and present L.G.A chairmen, etc. she was treated to a rousing welcome by PDP faithfuls and party stakeholders including the former deputy governor of Delta State.
Ada Anioma would later take to the stage and list out her projects in the L.G.A as follows:

1. Construction and equipping of Comprehensive Health Centre Issele-Uku.
2. Construction of Comprehensive Health Centre Idumuje-Ugboko.
3. Supply of modern health care equipments to Primary Health Centre Issele Mkpitime.
4. Portable water project Ezi.

Her arrival at Ogwashi-Uku proved Hon. Mrakpor as a politician who is loved by many including her contemporaries and predecessor.
She was warmly received by Hon. Pascal Adigwe, Chief Chris Agbobu, Chief Isaac Anwuzia, Chief Joe Ikenwe, Hon. Abu Ndekwu, Hon. Joe Ikenwe, etc who all top turns to pour encomiums on her.
When it was time, she gloriously mounted the stage and once again reeled out her accomplishments as follows.

1. Reconstruction of Ubulu Model Primary School, Ubulu Uku.
2. Construction of Seven classroom blocks with convenience at Ngwu Mixed Secondary School, Ogwashi-Uku.
3. Construction and equipping of Comprehensive Health Centre Nsukwa.
4. Construction of Garri processing factory in Ubulu-Uku.
5. Construction of Garri processing Factory Ejeme.
6. Construction of Bio-Resource Development Centre, Ubulu-Uku.
7. Construction of Comprehensive Health Centre Ogwashi-Uku.
8. Attraction of Idumu-Osigbudu road construction Ubulu-Uku.
9. Portable Water Project Ogwashi-Uku.

She further highlighted the progress of her bills, and announced that one had been signed into law.

"By the grace of God, the Nigerians in Diaspora Law which was signed in 2017 by President Muhammadu Buhari was sponsored by me" she said.

Hon. Mrakpor further revealed that she will not seek for reelection after completing her tenure in 2023, adding that God only instructed her to run for two tenures.
"What we have is Aniocha/Oshimili not Aniocha/Aniocha.
Aniocha North has represented the constituency for 12years,  Aniocha South has only represented 8years and should be allowed to complete her 12years in the spirit of equity and allow our Oshimili brothers to represent us as well," she posited.

She pleaded with the people of Oshimili to continue supporting her and be assured of her full support for them as they seek to run for the seat in 2023.

"I will support any candidate from Oshimili in 2023 with every resources God has blessed me with," she promised.

She further encouraged the delegates boylth statutory and adhoc to shun moneybags and vote for candidates with visible and completed projects.

"My dear delegates, the decision you make on the day of the primaries will determine our fate in the next 4yrs. Please, choose wisely." She advised.

Although, the National leadership of the PDP has announced the postponement of their House of Assembly, Senatorial and State Assembly primaries to hold from October 3rd with the gubernatorial primaries slated on Sunday 30th of September 2018.
