Nollywood Dominates AMAA Award Night, Wins 14 Out Of The Available 27 Categories.



Nigeria Movie industry popularly known as Nollywood starred in the 14th edition of the Africa Movies Academy Awards which held on October 20, in Rwanda capital, Kigali.

Nigerian actor Richard Mofe-Damijo, veteran actress Joke Silva and others emerged winners at the Awards.

Delta State born RMD emerged the overall Best Actor in a Leading Role, for the his role in "Cross Road."
Legendary actress and wife of Olu Jacobs, Joke Silva, picked up the Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her character in Potato Potahto.

The event lasted till the early hours of Sunday, October 21 and saw musical performance by former member of the pop band Psquare, Rude Boy.
