S.O.F Donates N50,000.00 To Offset Medical Bills Of Injured Osume-Etiti FC Captain.

Sam Osemene Foundation, a Nigeria based Nongovernmental Organisation has donated the sum of N50,000.00 to help shudder the medical expenses of Osume-Etiti FC captain Emeka Okoh who picked up an ankle injury during the last group fixture on matchday 34.
The incident occurred on December 18 when the Osume-Etiti FC captain was involved in a tackle with an Ogbeani FC player that saw his ankle twisted. The player has since been receiving treatment at a traditional orthopaedic centre where his medical bills have accumulated up to N50,000.00.
After Onwordi Ngozi Fortune presented a walking aide to the player and posted on Facebook, Professor Sam Osemene, a Texas based businessman and founder of S.O.F pledged to take up the medical bill.

Presenting the money to the player before the team coach and players, Onwordi Ngozi Fortune who represented the Foundation called on other well meaning sons and daughters of Ubulu-Uku kingdom to emulate the selflessness of Prof. Sam Osemene who though lives in USA but never fails to impact positively on his community here in Nigeria.
The recipient Emeka Okoh was emotional as he expressed gratitude to God for using S.O.F to wipe the tears from his eyes. The orphaned skipper prayed for God's blessings and protection upon the giver Prof. Sam Osemene.
In his words; "I am grateful to Prof. Sam Osemene and his Foundation for this rare act of kindness. I also want to thank you my Fortune for making this possible," he said.

Recall that S.O.F donated a complete set of football kits (A set of customized football Jerseys, football, boots, shin guards, socks, pair of goalkeeper's gloves) to Ogbeani FC before the kick off of Ubulu-Uku Unity Cup 2018.
In addition to paying for the team's registration, the organisation further motivated them with a pledge of N100,000.00 reward, if the team goes ahead to lift the trophy.

Consequently, Ogbeani FC have soared in this year's tournament, going ahead to defeated Abuedo FC 1-0 yesterday in the semifinals to set up a final against defending champions Ugbaa FC.

Also, last year the Foundation rewarded the team with N50,000.00 for finishing 3rd in the Annual Ubulu-Uku Football League.

On December 26, 2018, S.O.F hosted the maiden edition of 'Ubulu-Uku Talent Show' at Nwanọli Primary School Ubulu-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria.
The event is geared towards discovering, nurturing and sponsorship of indigenous talents in the entertainment industry.
The show recorded a massive turnout with over 2000 people in attendance and up to 15 different new artists and a dance group performing.
After making proper analysis, one of the performers will get a sponsorship to advance his/her career to the next level.
As the saying goes; 'until you have lived for others, you have not lived'.
Professor Sam Osemene is lives by living for others and it is our prayer that he continues to prosper in every side.
