Voice Of Hope Foundation Inaugurates Support Group For Okowa.

In her bid to mobilize grassroot support to ensure governor Okowa's reelection in 2019, Voice Of Hope Foundation a political pressure group under the platform of the PDP today December 31 declared support to work towards ensuring victory for all PDP candidates in the 2019 general elections.

The group was founded by the current Vice Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area Hon. Joseph Onwordi Ikenwe in 2012 ahead of his campaign for the chairmanship position of the L.G.A. The group has a membership strength that cuts across the 11 Wards of Aniocha South Local Government Area with over 1000 registered members including 20 excos in each Ward.
The event which held at the residence of Hon. Ikenwe started by 11a.m with a mammoth crowd in attendance.
Speaking at the occasion the Vice Chairman urged the members to go out and educate other members of the society on the need to vote Gov. Okowa and other PDP candidates to ensure stability and continuity of the good projects the party has initiated.

"Governor Okowa has performed very well. All across Aniocha South Local Government Area he has out performed his predecessors," he said.
He also mentioned other initiatives the governor initiated in his S.M.A.R.T initiative that has generated employment among Deltans and youths in particular.

Also speaking at the event, Hon. Okpoli Charles from Ward 5 said;
"God has used our amiable governor to make our Principal Mr. Ikenwe a Vice Chairman and we will support him. By God's grace, he will progress from this position to other top positions in Government." He opined.
The group members encouraged Hon. Ikenwe to sustain the group.

"We must also not fail to mention the support we got from our sister and leader Hon Joan Onyemaechi Mrakpor Ada Anioma, we pray for her promotion and upliftment," Ikenwe said.

The youth president of Ubulu-Uku Comr. Austin Enyi pleaded with the party members to unite.
"We are asking you our brother to stand firmly and we will stand behind you," he advised.

The event was attended by prominent founding members of the group including: Mr. Afa Ward 6 coordinator, Alhaji Zulu, Sam Okofu Ward 7 coordinator, Mr. Isitua, Mr. Ben Okonjo, Afam Mokwunye Ward 11 coordinator, Mr. Chamberlain Enyi Ward 5 coordinator, Comr. Austin Enyi and Ashibuogwu Nally Akalaka UYDC President and P.R.O respectively. Mr. Okwumabua Francis Journalist.

During the interactive session, the members discussed the importance of voting massively to attract governments attention.
