BBI Wins $3000 Cash In Social Media For Social Good Awards Africa.

The founder of Behind Bars Initiative, Prince Gwamnishu Harrison was in Lagos yesterday to receive an award of honour in recognition of his immeasurable contribution to Human Rights advocacy in Nigeria. The award ceremony which took place by 5p.m on the 20th of April, 2019, at Oriental Hotel, Lagos, was organised by the Governing Board of Social Media for Social Good Awards Africa.


The nomination letter reads in part:

Thank you for impacting lives positively using your online platform.
After critical review and assessment has picked you as one of the hundred awardees from across Africa for this prestigious award, it will please you to know, you were selected out of over 700 nominations.
Thus, a voting process will determine who goes home with the grand prize, the awardee with the highest vote wins the $3000, voting cost N50 per vote, please note this is not compulsory and only for those interested in winning the $3000, all proceeds will go to the NGO’s work in peace, justice and women empowerment.
Notwithstanding the $3000 prize, you will be honoured for your using your online platform for good on the 20th of April, 2019.

Yesterday, the award was presented to BBI after the voting process was concluded.
