FG Awards Two Road Construction Projects In Ubulu-Uku_ Hon. Mrakpor.

The honourable member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Evang. (Mrs.) Joan Onyemaechi Mrakpor revealed that the Federal Government has awarded the contract for the Construction Of two road projects in Ubulu-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta State.

She made this known through a post on her verified Facebook page.

The post reads in part:

The Federal Government under NDDC has finally awarded two roads in Ubulu Community, the Eke Market road and Ogbego/Udo road.
These roads and other Ubulu roads I have consistently lobbied to reintroduce into NDDC budget since 2015 but they were not awarded until 2018 and 2019.
Anyway, we thank the almighty God and pray that NDDC under the Senate Chairmanship of our brother and Distinguished Sen. Peter Nwaoboshi will complete this kind gesture and sort out its contractors for speedy completion.
Also, I want to also appreciate the Delta State Government for yet another presence in Ubulu-Uku.
The Obi junction and the DBS-Isho road has been awarded and the contractors asked to mobilise to site. I want to appeal to the Ubulu-Uku people to as always be warm to contractors who come to join hands to develop our land. I remember telling the contractor who who handled the Hon. Augustine Okeleke Ugbah street (formerly referred as Osigbudu Street) Abuedo, that my people are disciplined and will not pose any problems to them. I was very glad when we met again before the completion of the road project and he was indeed full of praises for the community.
We can monitor the quality of job done, while still maintaining a friendly disposition to all concerned.

When completed, it will bring to a total of 3 road projects completed by the Federal Government in Ubulu-Uku, an agrarian community in Aniocha South Local Government Area, Delta State.
