Road sanitation in Asaba and environs is set to get a boost as the Director General of Delta State Capital Territory Development Agency, Hon. Mrs. Joan Onyemaechi Mrakpor, today, November 8th, rejigged the arrangement of Road Sanitation Officers (RSOs).
The move is aimed at checkmating truancy, poor attitude to work, multiple staffing/switching as well as eliminate ghost workers.
The exercise afforded the DG and officials of the Agency an opportunity to further acquaint themselves with the RSOs.
Two officers were promoted to Supervisors, while one was reassigned to work at the Agency's office.
Altogether, seven zones were created with RSOs assigned to them. They include:
*Summit Junction to Government House
*Old Anwai road
*Inter Bau to Arcade
*Arcade to Nitel
*Inter Bau to Akpụ Junction
*Akpụ Junction to Okpanam and
*DBS Road
Addressing the staff, Mrs. Mrakpor charged the Officers to take their work seriously and jettison the practice of switching from their area of assignment to their choice location.

If you leave the area you are assigned and switch to another location, you will not be paid,
she said.
