Anioma Initiative Presents Wheelchairs, Cash Gift To Two Physically Challenged Persons

Representatives of a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) Anioma Initiative, led by the director general, Mr. Fortune Ngọzi Onwordi, yesterday presented two wheelchairs and a cash gift of N5,000 each to two physically challenged persons in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The NGO, founded in April 2020, by Prof. Sam Osemene, a Nigerian born businessman based in Austin Texas, USA, has provided help to over 30 persons across the nine LGAs in Delta North Senatorial District.

The two physically challenged persons who were presented with a brand new wheelchair are; Mr. Olise Azubuike and Mr. Ozor Ikinor from Ajaji village in Illah and Ekpechor Village in Ebu respectively, both in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Those who accompanied the Director General on the visit are, Mrs. Uche Nwandu, Assistant DG and Deacon Edward Ebodiwe, Manager of Oshimili North Local Government Area. Other members of the team are, Mrs. Cynthia Nwanua Gwamnishu, Ms. Nkem Udegbue, Mrs. Glory Joshua and Mr. Bishop Isebor who are the PRO, Managers of Aniocha South, Ika South and Aniocha North respectively.
The NGO is presently compiling a list of 32 poor and vulnerable persons from Anioma to be presented with N5,000 support package.
